Rams Use First-Round Tender On QB Case Keenum

Adam Caplan reports that the Rams have used a first-round tender on QB Case Keenum.

The first-round tender will cost the Rams $3.635M million for the 2016 season and net them a first-round pick if he receives an offer sheet from another team and they elect to pass on matching it.

Keenum, 28, played in six games for the Rams in 2016, finishing the season 3-3 as the starter. He threw for 3,023 yards and 15 touchdowns while only throwing 9 interceptions.

He also missed two games due to a concussion.

Keenum played in 10 games in his first two seasons with the Texans, amassing 2,195 yards and throwing for 11 touchdowns and eight interceptions.
