Rams Waive/Injured DT Louis Trinca-Pasat, Sign LS Jeff Overbaugh

The Los Angeles Rams officially waived DT Louis Trinca-Pasat with the injury designation and signed LS Jeff Overbaugh to a contract.

If Trinca-Pasat ends up clearing waivers on Monday, he would likely revert to the team’s injured reserve.

Trinca-Pasat, 24, wound up signing on with the Rams as an undrafted free agent out of Iowa back in May of last year. He was unfortunately unable to make the 53-man roster, but was later added to the Rams’ practice squad at the start of the season.

L.A. promoted him to their active roster towards the end of the season, but wasn’t active for a single game.

During his college career, Trinca-Pasat recorded 149 tackles, 25.5 tackles for a loss, nine sacks, a fumble recovery and six pass defenses over the course of four years.
