Bernie Miklasz of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch mentions that the St Louis Rams will have interest in Chargers WR Vincent Jackson if he becomes available.
“The Rams don’t have a proven deep threat. They don’t have a reliable WR of size that can give the offense a different dimension, writes  Miklasz. “They don’t have a WR that can outmuscle and outrun defenders. They have nothing like V. Jackson.”
Last year the Rams were one of the teams reported to be interested in trading Jackson but ultimately a deal was never reached. St Louis did, however, trade for Brandon Lloyd during the season even though he’s set to become a free agent in the coming weeks. There’s really no doubt that upgrading the wide receiver position is one of the top priorities during the offseason and Jackson would be a welcome addition to team that’s lacking play-makers.
