Rams Will Shut Down Sam Bradford

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the St Louis Rams will shut down QB Sam Bradford for the rest of the season.

Bradford has been dealing with a pretty serious ankle injury in recent weeks and it showed on Monday night. Kellen Clemens will get the start this weekend and could finish out the season for the Rams.

There’s been some speculation that the Rams may consider taking another quarterback in next years draft but the Rams intend to stick with Bradford. I can’t imagine that they would move on from Bradford at this point even in spite his struggles. So far the guy has yet to play in the same offensive scheme for two years and his receiving core hasn’t exactly been very productive.
