Randy Moss Addresses His Future With New England

Last week Randy Moss mentioned that he felt “unwanted” by the Patriots. Bill Belichick and Tom Brady have since expressed their support for Moss publicly.

Moss made time for the media after the teams win over Cincinnati last night to address some of the comments that he made during the previous week.

When asked about whether or not he would resign with the team if they offered an extension Moss said, “If an opportunity later on in the season presents itself for me to be a New England Patriot, I will accept that,” Moss stated. “But if it doesn’t, I must move on.”

When asked about if he would be willing to sign a contract next offseason, Moss replied, “For me to be offered a contract after this season is over, I think that would be a smack in my face, so I don’t even really want to get into that.”

It seems as though Moss is trying to get the Patriots to commit to him sooner rather than later. The team hasn’t expressed any intention of offering him an extension at this point.

“For me to be offered a contract after this season is over, I think that would be a smack in my face,” Moss said. “So I don’t even really want to get into that.”
