Randy Moss Back In New England Next Year?

According to Mike Reiss of ESPN.com, tosses out a hypothetical idea that would involve Randy Moss returning to the New England Patriots next season.

Reiss writes that “one could make the case that Moss’ vertical presence would be a better fit with the Patriots next season.

Reiss made the case earlier for the Patriots revamping their receiving corp this offseason, so it’s not surprising that he would toss out Moss as a potential option.

Mike Florio reported that Moss is considering a possible return next season, despite being 35 currently.

Moss doesn’t offer much more in terms of production than that of a No. 4 wide receiver, but he has a history with the Patriots and can still threaten opposing defenses vertically. It’s a sensible fit for the veteran, assuming of course that New England even has interest in bringing him back.
