Rashard Mendenhall Is Ready For Sunday

After tearing his ACL just nine months ago, Steelers running back Rashard Mendenhall will make his season debut Sunday against the Eagles, per Ed Bouchette.

It’s not known yet if Mendenhall will start Sunday, but with the recent success that running backs Adrian Peterson and Jamaal Charles have had following their ACL injuries, it wouldn’t be crazy to see him have a bigger workload than teammates Isaac Redman and Jonathan Dwyer.

Both Redman and Dwyer have struggled to produce throughout the Steelers first three games, but that may have something to do with the offensive line. It will be interesting to see if Mendenhall is able to step in and produce right away.
