Ravens Activate DL Terrence Cody From PUP List, Release TE Phillip Supernaw

The Baltimore Ravens have activated DL Terrence Cody from the PUP list and waived TE Phillip Supernaw, per Aaron Wilson.

  • Wilson adds that Baltimore promoted CB Tramain Jacobs to their active roster as well.

Ravens placed Cody on the active/PUP list back in July after following his hip surgery. Before the surgery, Cody was re-signed by Baltimore to a one-year contract.

Cody, 26, was the No. 57 pick in the 2010 draft and only appeared in a backup role for the Ravens’ defense in 2013. He appeared in 12 games last year and accumulated 15 total tackles and no sacks. According to Pro Football Focus, Cody graded negatively as both a run-defender and a pass-rusher.

Supernaw, 24, was promoted from the Ravens practice squad in October and was only able to reel in one reception this season. Before joining Baltimore, Supernaw had short stint in Houston before he was waived/injured.
