The Baltimore Ravens officially activated OLB Terrell Suggs from the active/PUP list on Monday, which will allow him to return to practice for the first time since he suffered an Achilles’ tear last year.
Suggs, 33, is a former first-round pick of the Ravens back in 2003. He’s currently in the third year of his five-year, $28.5 million contract and stands to make a base salary of $4.5 million for the 2016 season.
In 2014, Suggs appeared in all 16 games for the Ravens and recorded 61 tackles, 12 sacks, a fumble recovery, a pass defense and a safety. However, he tore his Achilles at the start of the season and was subsequently placed on season-ending injured reserve.
