Ravens Activate Terrell Suggs, Release Sergio Kindle

The Baltimore Ravens have announced that they have officially activated DE/OLBĀ Terrell Suggs and have released OLB Sergio Kindle to make room for the reigning defensive player of the year.

Suggs had been on the team’s PUP list after he torn his Achilles several months ago.Ā ESPN’s Chris Mortensen reports that Suggs will play against the Texans. It seems very likely that he will only see a limited number of snaps considering that the Ravens cannot afford to lose him now that Ray Lewis and Lardarius Webb are both done for the season.

As for Kindle, he was theĀ 43rd overall pick in the 2010 NFL draft, but heĀ unfortunately suffered aĀ skull fracture that limited him to appearing in just 3 games.
