Ravens Activate WR Breshad Perriman From PUP List

Ravens HC John Harbaugh announced Monday that WR Breshad Perriman has passed his physical and has been removed from the team’s active/PUP list.

“We’re all holding our breath a little bit,” Harbaugh said of Perriman returning to practice, per Jamison Hensley.

Perriman gave the Ravens a scare a few months ago when he appeared to have sustained another knee injury.

Thankfully, tests later revealed that Perriman did not have a torn ACL, despite previous reports that said he had sustained a partially torn ligament. He did, however, receive a stem-cell injection.

Perriman, 22, was taken with the No. 26 overall pick last year and is currently in the second year of his four-year, $8.705 million rookie contract that includes $7.09 million guaranteed. He’ll make a base salary of $830,697 for the 2016 season.

Perriman has yet to appear in an NFL game.
