Ravens “Aren’t Anywhere Close” To A Contract Extension With QB Joe Flacco

Aaron Wilson of the Carroll County Times writes that QB Joe Flacco and the Ravens “aren’t anywhere close to negotiating a long-term contract extension.

Wilson points out that “Flacco is heading into the final year of his rookie contract,” during which he quickly became the “franchise’s all-time leading passer.”  This offseason “Flacco has haunted the Raven’s training complex and hasn’t missed any organized team activities,” says Wilson.

Offensive coordinator Cam Cameron said that this has been Flacco’s “most consistent offseason,” and that “he has always done well, but he is stacking days on top of each other right now.

While Flacco may be showing up to OTA’s but, it is possible that he could opt to sit out of training camp if he feels that not enough is being done in regards to his contract.
