Ravens CB Tavon Young Suffers Torn ACL

The Baltimore Ravens announced Thursday that CB Tavon Young did, in fact, suffer a torn ACL during OTAs.

Young went down with a knee injury and later indicated via his Twitter account that he was serious.

It’s likely the Ravens will place him on injured reserve in the coming days and look to add another player to their roster.

Young, 24, is a former fourth-round pick of the Ravens back in 2016. He’s currently in the second year of his four-year, $2.945 million contract and stands to make base salaries of $603,500 and $728,000 over the next two years.

In 2016, Young appeared in all 16 games and recorded 53 tackles, two interceptions, a fumble recovery and eight passes. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 26 cornerback out of 111 qualifying players.
