Ravens Claim CB Chris Lewis-Harris Off Waivers From Bengals

The Ravens have claimed CB Chris Lewis-Harris off of waivers Friday from the Bengals, according to Jim Owczarski.

  • Owczarski adds that the Dolphins also placed a waiver claim for Lewis-Harris, but the Ravens had the higher priority.

Lewis-Harris, 27, wound up signing on with the Bengals as an undrafted free agent out of Chattanooga back in 2012. He’s currently in the final year of his contract and stands to make a base salary of $675,000 for the 2016 season before testing the open market next year.

The Bengals waived him on Thursday to make room for DE Wallace Gilberry.

In 2016, Lewis-Harris has appeared in seven games and recorded four tackles, an interception and two pass defenses for the Bengals.
