Ravens Claim OL Billy Turner Off Waivers From Dolphins

Field Yates of ESPN reports that the Ravens have claimed OL Billy Turner off of waivers from the Miami Dolphins on Wednesday.

Turner was one of several roster cuts from the Dolphins on Tuesday following the team’s disappointing Week 5 performance against the Titans.

Turner, 24, is a former third-round pick of the Dolphins back in 2014. He’s currently in the third year of his four-year, $3.1 million rookie contract and set to make a base salary of $686,750 for the 2016 season.

In 2016, Turner has appeared in all five games for the Dolphins and is rated by Pro Football Focus as the No. 75 offensive tackle out of 76 qualifying players.
