Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that Ravens defensive coordinator Dean Pees is expected to retire from the NFL after the 2017 season.

According to Schefter, Pees has not informed the Ravens’ players of his plans just yet but he is expected to move on after the season.

Pees, 68, began his NFL coaching career with the Patriots back in 2004 as their linebackers coach. He worked his way up to defensive coordinator before joining the Ravens in 2010.

Baltimore promoted him to their defensive coordinator in 2012 and he’s remained in charge of their defense the past six seasons.

We’ll have more regarding Pees and the Ravens as the news is available.
