Ravens Fourth-Round Pick RB Lorenzo Taliaferro Arrested Saturday

Baltimore Ravens fourth-round draft pick RB Lorenzo Taliaferro was arrested and charged with misdemeanor public intoxication and destruction of property charges after breaking a taxi cab window early Saturday morning, per the Virginia Gazette.

This report comes just four days after Taliaferro earned large praise from HC John Harbaugh.

I thought Lorenzo was very smooth running the ball,” Harbaugh said, via the Baltimore Sun. “He did a nice job picking up the aiming points and the reads. He looks like he is a big guy, a downhill guy. I was very impressed with what kind of shape he is in.”

Baltimore has now had four players arrested this offseason including fellow running back Ray Rice

Though Rice will undoubtedly enter training camp as the Ravens’ No. 1 running back, it will be interesting to see if Bernard Pierce is able to cut into his carries while Taliaferro works to endear himself to the coaching staff this summer.
