Ravens HC John Harbaugh told reporters on Friday that there is a “good chance” G Kelechi Osemele undergoes surgery on his back.
- Harbaugh added that it’s unlikely Osemele will play again this season.
Osemele mentioned last week that he was dealing with some back issues this season and expected to undergo back surgery during the offseason. Harbaugh said that there were some changes with regards to Osemele’s back, which explains why there is now talk of him being done for the season.
Last year, Osemele graded out as an above average offensive tackle, according to Pro Football Focus. However, his play dropped off this season after he was moved inside to left guard. Clearly, his back was one of the main reasons for his struggles.
