Ravens G Marshal Yanda Restructures His Contract

According to Mac’s Football Blog, Baltimore Ravens G Marshal Yanda has restructured his contract which will give the team some much needed cap space to work with.

Yanda’s 2012 salary was dropped to $700,000, while the remaining $4.5 million has been converted into a signing bonus that will be paid out through 2015.

Yanda’s was given a five-year worth $32.5 million last year, but proved to be more than worth for them, considering the issues that they had on their offensive line last season. The departure of Ben Grubbs has left a whole opposite of Yanda, so he’ll be looked to as a stabilizer next season.

Baltimore obviously needs the extra cash with  both Joe Flacco and Ray Rice entering the final year of their contracts.
