Ravens Have Expressed Interest In TE Scott Chandler

Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun reports that the Ravens have expressed “preliminary” interest in former Bills tight end Scott Chandler.

  • Wilson adds that the Ravens plan to explore several options at the tight end position in the coming weeks.

Baltimore saw veteran TE Owen Daniels follow Gary Kubiak to the Denver a few days ago, so tight end remains on of their main areas of need this offseason.

Chandler, 29, was released in a move that freed up $2.25 million in available cap space for the Bills.

In 2014, Chandler appeared in all 16 games last year and caught 47 passes for 497 yards receiving and three touchdowns. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 47 tight end out of 67  qualifying players.
