Ravens Hosting CB Bashaud Breeland For Visit Saturday

Jeff Zrebiec confirms that free agent CB Bashaud Breeland was at the Ravens facility on Saturday to take a physical and meet with team officials.

Yesterday, Josina Anderson of ESPN reported that Breeland was scheduled to meet with the Ravens once his visit with the Browns had concluded.

According to Anderson, the Ravens are “getting more aggressive” with their interest in Breeland and “prefer to see him tonight” after his visit with the Browns. Anderson adds that the Jets are also interested in Breeland, but haven’t scheduled a visit yet.

On Wednesday, Breeland left his visit with the Chiefs. He previously met with the Colts and Cardinals.

Breeland, 26, is a former fourth-round pick of the Redskins back in 2014. He played out the final year of his four-year, $2.706 million contract and made a base salary of $690,000 for the 2017 season.

He is testing the free agent market for the first time in his NFL career.

In 2017, Breeland appeared in 14 games for the Redskins and recorded 48 tackles, one interception returned for a touchdown and 16 pass defenses. He also contributed 280 kick return yards. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 54 cornerback out of 120 qualifying players.

We have him featured in our Top 50 Available 2018 NFL Free Agents list.
