Ravens Interested In TEs Owen Daniels & Ed Dickson

Ravens HC John Harbaugh told reporters on Tuesday that they are considering signing another tight end and specifically mentioned that free agents Owen Daniels and Ed Dickson are both options, per Jeff Zrebiec.

Daniels has already visited with the Packers and Redskins since being cut loose by the Texans a few weeks ago.

Daniels, 31, appeared five games and caught 24 receptions for 252 yards and three touchdowns. He his season was limited due to injuries, but the fact that there is not a lot of depth at the tight end position leaves him as one of the best available options.

Dickson reportedly has offers from the Ravens and Jaguars, as well as interest from the Bills, Jets and Giants.

Dickson, 26, appeared in all 16 games for the Ravens and totaled 25 receptions for 273 yards receiving and a touchdown. He was rated by Pro Football Focus as the worst qualifying tight end in the league this past season.

We have both players listed in our Best Available Free Agents list.
