Ravens “Looking Seriously” At WR Mike Wallace

Aditi Kinkhabwala of NFL Media reports the Ravens are “looking seriously at” free agent WR Mike Wallace if the price is right.

  • Kinkhabwala adds that the Ravens are also in the market for a tight end.

It’s worth mentioning that signing Wallace to a contract wouldn’t factor into a team’s 2017 compensatory picks.

Wallace, 29, was in the fourth five-year, $60 million contract that included $30 million guaranteed when he was released by the Vikings in a move that freed up $11.5 million in available cap space on Tuesday.

In 2015, Wallace appeared in all 16 games for the Vikings and recorded 39 receptions for 473 yards receiving and two touchdowns. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 96 receiver out of 121 qualifying players.

We have him featured in our Top 100 – 2016 Free Agents list.
