Ravens Picking Up WR Breshad Perriman’s Roster Bonus

Jamison Hensley reports that the Ravens will pick up WR Breshad Perriman‘s $649,485 roster bonus that’s due on Saturday.

According to Perriman, will still have to battle for a roster spot this summer, as he’s not among the team’s top-three receivers entering training camp.

However, it appears as though Baltimore is willing to at least give him one more shot at competing for a spot.

A few months ago, the Ravens elected to decline Perriman’s fifth-year option for the 2019 season, which means he’s in a contract year.

Perriman, 24, is a former first-round pick out of Central Florida by the Ravens in the 2015 NFL Draft. He is entering the final year of his four-year, $8.705 million rookie contract and is set to earn a base salary of $972,606 million for 2018.

He missed his entire rookie season in 2015 due to a PCL injury. Perriman also missed time last year due to a concussion and was a healthy scratch for several games near the end of the season.

In 2017, Perriman appeared in 11 games for the Ravens and recorded 10 receptions for 77 yards receiving and no touchdowns. Pro Football Focus graded him as the last overall receiver out of 116 players.
