Ravens Place CB Asa Jackson On I.R. After Clearing Waivers

The Baltimore Ravens officially placed CB Asa Jackson on season-ending injured reserve Wednesday, according to the NFL Transactions release.

Jackson was waived with the injury designation on Tuesday, so this move was expected as long as no one claimed him.

Jackson, 25, is a former fifth-round pick of the Ravens back in 2012. He spent the first three years of his career in Baltimore before he was waived as the team cut their roster down to 53 players this past weekend.

His 2015 season ends with him appearing in four games for the Ravens and recording just one tackle.
