The Baltimore Ravens announced that they’ve placed LB Kamalei Correa (ribs) on season-ending injured reserve on Saturday to make room for LB Brennen Beyer, who was promoted to the active roster.
Correa, 22, was taken in the sixth round of this year’s NFL draft by the Ravens. He signed a four-year, $5.749 million contract that includes $3.452 million guaranteed with the Ravens.
In 2016, Correa appeared in nine games and recorded three tackles, no sacks and a pass defense for the Ravens.
During his three-year career at Boise State, Correa recorded 107 tackles, 29.5 tackles for a loss, 19 sacks, four forced fumbles, and two recoveries.
