The Baltimore Ravens officially placed TE Crockett Gillmore and C Brandon Kublanow on injured reserve Saturday after they passed through waivers unclaimed.
Gillmore underwent surgery to repair his MCL earlier in the week and will miss the 2017 season. His recovery time is expected to be 5 months.
Gillmore, 25, is a former fourth-round pick of the Ravens back in 2014. He’s currently in the final year of his four-year, $2.906 million contract and set to make a base salary of $690,000 for the 2017 season.
The Ravens waived Gillmore with an injury designation on Friday.
In 2016, Gillmore appeared in seven games and caught eight passes for 71 yards receiving and one touchdown.
