Ravens Place TE Crockett Gillmore On I.R. & Sign OLB Chris Carter

The Baltimore Ravens announced Monday that they’ve placed TE Crockett Gillmore on season-ending injured reserve and signed OLB Chris Carter.

Gillmore, 24, is in the second year of his four-year, $2.906 million rookie contract that included a $606,376 signing bonus. He’ll make a base salary of $510,000 this season to go along with $600,000 in 2016.

Gillmore’s 2015 season comes to an end with him appearing in 10 games and recording 33 receptions for 412 yards receiving and four touchdowns for the Ravens.

Carter, 26, was a fifth-round pick of the Steelers back in 2011. He spent over three years in Pittsburgh before he cut loose at the start of the 2014 season.

Carter played briefly for the Colts before joining the Bengals in December of last year. He was waived a week ago.

This season, Carter has appeared in 13 games and recorded 10 tackles and a fumble recovery for the Bengals.
