Ravens Promote WR Jeremy Ross, Waive DT Christo Bilukidi

The Baltimore Ravens promoted WR Jeremy Ross from their practice squad on Saturday and waived DT Christo Bilukidi to make room for him, according to Jeff Zrebiec.

Ross, 27, originally signed on with the Patriots as an undrafted free agent out of California back in 2011. He played briefly for the Colts before joining the Packers in October of 2012.

The Lions would later sign him to a contract and give him an opportunity to their kick returner where Ross showed some ability. However, he was among the team’s final roster cuts before signing on to the Ravens’ practice squad.

In 2014, Ross finished the year catching 24 passes for 314 yards receiving and a touchdown while also totaling 584 kick return yards and 284 punt return yards.

Bilukidi, 25, re-signed with the Ravens as a restricted free agent back in February. He signed a two-year, $1.5 million contract and was set to make a base salary of $660,000 for the 2015 season.

However, Bilukidi hasn’t been active for a single game this season.
