The Baltimore Ravens announced that veteran RB Justin Forsett is out for the remainder of the game after he suffered a broken arm.

Forsett was taken off the field with an air cast on his injured arm, so it was clear that this could be a broken arm.

Forsett, 30, is in the first year of his three-year, $9 million contract that included a $2.1 million signing bonus. He’ll make a base salary of $900,000 this season and another $3 million in each of the final two years of the agreement.

According to OverTheCap.com, the Ravens could free up $2.3 million in cap space next year by releasing Forsett. Doing so would also create $1.4 million in dead money for the Ravens.

Entering today’s game, Forsett had ran for 615 yards on 147 carries (4.2 YPC) to go along with 31 receptions for 153 yards receiving and two total touchdowns.
