Ravens RB Kenneth Dixon Suspended Additional Two Games

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that Ravens RB Kenneth Dixon has been suspended an additional two games for a substance abuse violation.

Dixon was already set to miss the first four games of the season due to a four-game suspension for violating the league’s performance-enhancing drug policy, but suffered a season-ending medial meniscus tear this past July.

Dixon, 23, was selected in the fourth-round of the 2016 NFL Draft by the Ravens. He signed a four-year, $2.723 million rookie contract that included a $383,392 signing bonus. He is set to make a base salary of $540,000 this year.

In 2016, Dixon appeared in 12 games for the Ravens and recorded 88 rushing attempts for 382 rushing yards (4.3 YPC) and two touchdowns. He also accumulated 30 receptions for 162 yards receiving and one touchdown. Pro Football Focus graded him as the No. 24 overall running back out of 62 qualifying players.
