Jeff Zrebiec of the Baltimore Sun reports that Ravens have agreee in principle to a six-year deal with CB Lardarius Webb. Jason La Canfora reports that Webb will receive $50 mil lion in total along with $20 million guaranteed and $10 million signing bonus.
Yesterday we mentioned that the Ravens were working a new contract for both Webb and Cary Williams, but it’s a little surprising that this got done so soon.
Webb put together an incredible 2011 season for the Ravens last year and is certainly deserving a long-term contract. I’m sure that the Ravens are happy that he’ll be a part of their secondary for the year’s to come.
