Ravens Re-Sign RFA RB Terrance West

The Baltimore Ravens officially re-signed restricted free agent RB Terrance West.

The original-round tender will cost the Ravens around $1.797 millionĀ for the 2017 season.

West, 26, is a former third-round pick of the Browns back in 2014. He was later traded to the Titans in deal with the Browns that sent a 2016 conditional pick to Cleveland in return for the running back.

The Titans elected to cut West loose and he wound up catching on with the Ravens and was signed to their practice squad a few days later. Baltimore brought West back in an exclusive rights contract last year.

In 2016, West appeared in all 16 games for the Ravens and rushed for 774 yards on 193 carries (4 YPC) to go along with 34 receptions for 236 yards receiving and six total touchdowns. Pro Football Focus graded him as the No. 13 overall running back out of 62 qualifying players.
