Ravens Re-Sign RFA S Will Hill

Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun reports that Ravens S Will Hill has signed his restricted tender worth $1.542 million.

Baltimore ultimately used a low-round tender on him, which would have prevented them from receiving any draft compensation had another team signed him to an offer sheet and the Ravens passed on matching it.

Hill, 25, originally signed on with the Giants as an undrafted free agent out of Florida back in 2012. After some off-the-field issues, Hill was forced to play in the Arena Football League for a brief period of time before the Ravens took a chance on him last year.

Last year, Hill appeared in 10 games and recorded 41 tackles, one interception, a defensive touchdown and four pass defenses. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 14 safety out of 87 qualifying players.
