Ravens Release RB Jeremy Langford From Practice Squad Injured List

The Baltimore Ravens officially released RB Jeremy Langford from the practice squad injured list on Wednesday and signed TE Ryan Malleck to the unit.

The Ravens’ practice squad now consists of:

  1. FB Ricky Ortiz
  2. G Maurquice Shakir
  3. WR Quincy Adeboyejo
  4. QB Josh Woodrum
  5. Ronald Martin
  6. G Arie Kouandjio
  7. LB Nicholas Grigsby
  8. DB Josh Thornton
  9. RB John Crockett
  10. TE Ryan Malleck

Langford, 25, was taken with the No. 106 overall pick in the fourth round of last year’s NFL draft by the Bears. He was in the second year of his four-year, $3.139 million rookie contract and set to make a base salary of $615,000 for the 2017 season when the Bears cut him loose coming out of the preseason.

The Ravens signed Langford to their practice squad soon and he’s been on and off of the unit ever since.

In 2016, Langford appeared in all 16 games for the Bears and recorded 62 rushing attempts for 200 yards (3.2 YPC).
