Ravens Restructured CB Lardarius Webb’s Contract

Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun reports that the Ravens have restructured cornerback Lardarius Webb‘s contract.

  • According to Jason La Canfora, Webb has agreed to reduce his 2015 salary from $8 million to $6 million.
  • Wilson mentions that Webb will make $18 million over next three years.

There was talk for several months now that Webb could be on the chopping block, but it appears as though the two parties were able to come to some sort of agreement to keep him in Baltimore for at least one more year.

Webb, 29, had three years remaining on his six-year, $52.742 million contract that included a $10 million guaranteed. He stands to make base salaries of $8 million (2015-2016) and $8.5 million (2017) over the course of the agreement.

In 2014, Webb appeared in 13 games and recorded 46 tackles, one interception and eight pass defenses for the Ravens. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 78 player out of 108 qualifying players.

We’ll have the contract details posted as they’re available.
