Ravens S Will Hill’s Suspension Lifted

NFL commissioner Roger Goodell has lifted Ravens S Will Hill‘s suspension, according to Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun.

  • Wilson adds that Hill will now be placed on exempt commissioner permission list through next Monday.

The Ravens signed Hill to a one-year contract worth the veteran’s minimum salary of $570,000 back in July, which happened to be just a few weeks after the Giants placed him on waivers after he lost his appeal for violating the NFL’s policy for substance abuse. Hill received a six-game suspension from the league.

Hill, 24, has been suspended three times in as many years. Last year, Hill appeared in 12 games and totaled 77 tackles, two interceptions, two forced fumbles and a recover for the Giants.

It’s worth mentioning that Pro Football Focus had Hill rated as the No. 2 safety in league last season.
