Former Giants DB Bennett Jackson announced via his Twitter account that he’s signed a futures deal with the Ravens for the 2018 season.
Officially signed with the @Ravens !! I couldn’t be more excited to get back doing what I love. Thank you for giving me the opportunity! 🙏🏽🙏🏽

Futures deals are essentially camp invites that will give players the opportunity to compete for roster spots during offseason workouts and training camp.
Jackson, 26, is a former sixth-round pick of the Giants back in 2014. He was unable to make the 53-man roster during his rookie year but later signed on to their practice squad.
In 2015, Jackson suffered a season-ending ACL tear that led to him being placed on injured reserve. The Giants elected to bring him back on a future/reserve contract but once again waived him coming out of the preseason.
Jackson has yet to appear in an NFL game.
