Ravens Sign G Vlad Ducasse, Place CB Sheldon Price On I.R.

The Baltimore Ravens announced Tuesday that they’ve placed CB Sheldon Price on injured reserve and signed veteran G Vladimir Ducasse to a contract.

Ducasse, 28, is a former second-round pick of the Jets back in 2010. He played out his rookie contract with the Jets before signing on with the Vikings in 2014. The Bears elected to sign him to a one-year contract back in March last year.

The Ravens signed Ducasse to a contract this summer. However, he was unfortunately among their final roster cuts a few weeks ago.

In 2015, Ducasse appeared in 15 games for the Bears and was rated by Pro Football Focus as the No. 47 offensive tackle out of 81 qualifying players.

Price, 25, signed on with the Colts as an undrafted free agent out of UCLA back in 2013. He was on an off of the Colts’ active roster for two years before he was waived with an injury settlement in November of last year.

The Ravens later signed Price to their practice squad before calling him up towards the end of last season. Baltimore brought Price back on an exclusive rights contract several months ago.

In 2016, Price appeared in four games but did not record a statistic.
