Ravens Sign QB Josh Woodrum To Practice Squad, Release TE Ryan Malleck

The Baltimore Ravens announced Tuesday that they’ve signed QB Josh Woodrum to the practice squad and released TE Ryan Malleck from the unit.

The Ravens’ practice squad now consists of:

  1. OG/C Matt Skura
  2. FB Ricky Ortiz
  3. LB Boseko Lokombo
  4. G Maurquice Shakir
  5. CB Reggie Porter
  6. WR Quincy Adeboyejo
  7. RB Alex Collins (Exception)
  8. RB Jeremy Langford (Exception)
  9. CB Tony McRae
  10. QB Josh Woodrum

Woodrum, 24, signed with the Giants as an undrafted free agent out of Liberty but was unfortunately waived after the team signed QB B.J. Daniels to their roster. The Colts signed him to a contract back in May of last year and he would go on to have brief stints with the Bears and Bills before signing on with the Ravens this past July.

The Browns claimed Woodrum off of waivers after he was cut loose coming out of the preseason, but he was waived soon after.

During his four-year college career at Liberty, Woodrum threw for 10,266 yards while completing 63.9 percent of his passes to go along with 61 touchdowns and 30 interceptions. He also contributed 228 yards rushing and 16 rushing touchdowns.
