Ravens Sign Second-Round Pick TE Maxx Williams

Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun reports that the Ravens have agree to terms with second-round TE Maxx Williams on Thursday.

Williams becomes the second draft pick from the Ravens’ 2015 class to sign his rookie deal after they agreed to terms with CB Tray Walker earlier in the day.

According to OverTheCap.com, Williams is projected to receive a four-year contract worth $3,918,332, which includes a signing bonus of $1,109,696.

During his two years at Minnesota, Williams caught 61 passes for 986 yards receiving and 13 touchdowns. He was wildly considered to be the best tight end in this year’s draft class and has a real oppotunity to be a good player in Baltimore.

  1. Congratulations to Raven fans out there. I was hoping we (The Raiders) would have drafted this guy. You’ll have a solid TE for years to come.
