Ravens Signed HC John Harbaugh To A One-Year Extension

Ravens owner Steve Bisciotti told reporters on Monday that he extended HC John Harbaugh’s contract by one more season to show his support, per Jeff Zrebiec.

The Ravens reached an agreement with Harbaugh on a multi-year extension back in September of last year, so it is a little surprising that they were so aggressive in adding another year to his contract seven months later.

Harbaugh is now under team control through the 2017 season and reports from last year mentioned that he’ll make close to $7 million annually in his new contract. This leaves him among the highest paid coaches in the entire NFL.

Harbaugh has a .646 (62-34) winning percentage in his six years with Baltimore. The Ravens have won nine playoff games and a Super Bowl title under Harbaugh.
