Ravens Signing CFL LB Bo Lokombo To Futures Deal

The Baltimore Ravens are signing CFL LB Bo Lokombo to a future/reserve contract on Monday, according to Mike Beamish.

The Ravens have now signed 8 players to futures deals since their season ended. The full list includes:

  1. QB Dustin Vaughan (NFLTR)
  2. RB Stephen Houston
  3. WR Kenny Bell
  4. OL Jarell Broxton
  5. OL Jarrod Pughsley
  6. OL Matt Skura
  7. CB Robertson Daniel
  8. LB Bo Lokombo

Future/reserve contracts are essentially an opportunity for players compete for a roster spot in offseason workouts and during training camp.

Lokombo, 26, was born in Kinshasa, Zaire before moved to Montreal, Quebec in 1996. He played four seasons at the University of Oregon and totaled 171 tackles, seven sacks, six interceptions with four of them being returned for touchdowns, four forced fumbles and seven pass defenses.

Lokombo wound up going undrafted out of Oregon but later signed with the BC Lions in 2014. During this three years in the CFL, Lokombo recorded 44 tackles and a sack over the course of 43 games.
