Ravens Signing Former Bears RB Jeremy Langford To Practice Squad

Adam Schefter of ESPN is reporting that the Ravens are signing former Bears RB Jeremy Langford to their practice squad.

The Ravens’ practice squad now consists of:

  1. OG/C Matt Skura
  2. FB Ricky Ortiz
  3. LB Boseko Lokombo
  4. TE Ryan Malleck
  5. CB Reggie Porter
  6. WR Quincy Adeboyejo
  7. RB Alex Collins
  8. RB Jeremy Langford

Langford, 25, was taken with the No. 106 overall pick in the fourth round of last year’s NFL draft by the Bears. He was in the second year of his four-year, $3.139 million rookie contract and set to make a base salary of $615,000 for the 2017 season when the Bears cut him loose on Sunday.

In 2016, Langford appeared in all 16 games for the Bears and recorded 62 rushing attempts for 200 yards (3.2 YPC) and four touchdowns to go along with 19 receptions for 142 yards receiving (7.5 YPC) and lost two fumbles.
