ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that former Texans S Kendrick Lewis reached agreement on a three-year deal with the Baltimore Ravens.

John McClain previously reported that the Texans were still interested in re-signing Lewis, even after they agreed to terms with S Rahim Moore. However, it appears as though the Ravens were able to price them out of the market.

There’s no question that the Ravens needed to add a safety, and Lewis is coming off of a productive season for the Texans.

Lewis, 26, is a former fifth-round pick of the Chiefs back in 2010. He played out his rookie contract with Kansas City before signing a one-year deal with the Texans last year worth the minimum.

In 2014, Lewis appeared in Lewis appeared in all 16 games and recorded 84 tackles, two interceptions (one for a touchdown), three forced fumbles, a recover, six pass defenses. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 39 safety out of 87 qualifying players.

We had Lewis listed as the No. 82 player in our Top 100 Free Agents list.
