Ravens Officially Cut 15 Players Including RB Justin Forsett

The Baltimore Ravens have begun the process of trimming their roster down to 53 players. Here’s the list of roster cuts up to this point:

  1. RB Justin Forsett
  2. QB Josh Johnson
  3. OG Vladimir Ducasse
  4. LB Arthur Brown
  5. S Terrence Brooks
  6. LB Brennen Beyer
  7. WR Daniel Brown
  8. WR Jeremy Butler
  9. OT Blaine Clausell
  10. DT Kapron Lewis-Moore
  11. OLB Victor Ochi
  12. LB Patrick Onwausor
  13. WR Keenan Reynolds
  14. C Matt Skura
  15. DB Julian Wilson

Other roster moves include:

  • WR Michael Campanaro, WR Chris Matthews, OT De’Ondre Wesley (Injured Reserve)
  • DB Carrington Byndom (Waived/Injured)

Forsett, 30, was entering the second year of  a three-year, $9 million contract that included a $2.1 million signing bonus. He was set to earn a base salary of $3 million for 2016 to go along with another $3 million the next season.

Reynolds was selected with the No. 182 overall pick by the Ravens. There was some question as to whether he would be allowed to differ service time to play in the NFL, but he was able to join the Ravens this summer.

According to OverTheCap.com, Reynolds signed a four-year contract worth $2,485,692 to go along with a signing bonus of $145,692.

During his four-year college career at Navy, Reynolds threw for 4,001 yards while completing 52.4 percent of his passes to go along with 31 touchdowns and eight interceptions. He also contributed 4,559 yards rushing on 977 attempts (4.7 YPC) to go along with 88 touchdowns.
