Ravens TE Darren Waller Reinstated Following One-Year Suspension

Ravens TE Darren Waller has officially been reinstated after serving a one-year suspension for violating leagues substance abuse policy, according to Jeff Zrebiec.

Waller, 25, is a former sixth-round pick of the Ravens. He’s currently in the third year of his four-year, $2.39 million rookie contract and stands to make base salaries of $615,000 and $705,000 over the final two years of the agreement.

Waller made the transition to tight end after playing receiver in 2015. However, he was placed on the reserve/suspended list after he again violated the league’s substance abuse policy.

In 2016, Waller appeared in 12 games for the Ravens and caught 10 passes for 85 yards receiving and two touchdowns.
