Ravens Tender ERFA RB Alex Collins

Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports that the Ravens have tendered exclusive rights free agent RB Alex Collins a contract on Tuesday.

Collins, 23, is a former fifth-round pick of the Seahawks back in 2016. He was entering the second year of his four-year, $2.566 million contract that included a $184,384 signing bonus when he was cut loose the by the Seahawks at the start of the 2017 season.

Collins signed on to the Ravens’ practice squad a few days later and was eventually promoted to their active roster.

In 2017, Collins appeared in 15 games and rushed for 973 yards on 212 carries (4.6 YPC) to go along with 23 receptions for 187 yards receiving and six touchdowns. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 4 running back out of 58 qualifying players.
