Ravens Release DL Terrence Cody

Update:

The Ravens announced Monday that they have officially released DL Terrence Cody

———–

The Baltimore Ravens announced Friday that they are terminating the contract of DL Terrence Cody following the Super Bowl.

Cody, 26, was taken in the second round of the 2010 NFL Draft, but he has yet to come close to living up to his draft status.

Baltimore elected to re-sign Cody to a one-year, $730,000 contract in April of last year after he found very little interest on the open market.

Cody was going to be a free agent in the coming months anyways, so this is really just a formality.

In 2014, he appeared in just a single game for the Ravens, but didn’t record a statistic and was limited to playing nine snaps, according to Pro Football Focus.
