Ravens Traded Conditional 2018 7th-Rd Pick To Rams For WR Chris Givens

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the Baltimore Ravens trading the Rams a conditional 2018 seventh-round pick for WR Chris Givens.

The Ravens were already in need of receiver help before Steve Smith and Michael Campanaro sustained injuries during Thursday night’s game. Beyond that, first-round WR Breshad Perriman re-injured his knee in recent days, so he’s not any closer to returning.

Givens, 25, is a former fourth round pick of the Rams back in 2012. He’s in the final year of his four-year, $2,597,028 rookie contract that included a $497,028 signing bonus.

Givens stands to make a base salary of $1.542 million for the 2015 season.

According to OverTheCap.com, trading Given will free up $1,542,000 in available cap space for the Rams while creating $124,257 in dead money.

This year, Givens has appeared in three games for the Ravens and recorded one catch for seven yards to go along with one carry for 24 yards rushing.
